The 75-mile event was to raise money for the charity’s scheme, ‘Wheels for All’, a free programme for anyone who wants to cycle. The scheme has access to adapted cycles, enabling anyone to experience the freedom of cycling, increase their fitness and have fun. The programme is run by volunteers and relies heavily on public donations to provide funds to maintain, repair and purchase new bikes for disabled cyclists.

Bishop’s Solent Depot Manager, Stuart Jacobs said, “We are proud to be able to get involved and support such a worthy charity in this challenging but fun event. Bishop’s Move were just glad to be able to contribute in some way in helping the local community. We wish Pompey In the Community all the best with the continuation and development of their Wheels for All programme and are looking forward to getting involved in more local projects with Pompey in the Community in 2019.”
