Bishop`s Move expands its fleet

Bishop`s Move has started a replacement programme for its vehicle fleet over the next six months. The company says it is doing this to match high demand.

Bishop's Move's new fleet additionBishops said that it has worked closely with SBR Coachbuilders to design and fit the removal bodies.  The 12-tonne vehicle will hold three containers and have a loading capacity of 1,400cuft as well as sleep and seat three staff. The larger 16-tonne vehicle will have a maximum holding capacity of four containers, sleep and seat 3 and will allow for a total volume of 1,700cuft.  The five-pallet, 18-tonne vehicle will be able to seat four staff and sleep three with a maximum capacity of 2,200cuft. Out of the 17 vehicles ordered, seven will have tuck away tail-lifts fitted making them suitable for use with the company’s Business Relocation Division. The vehicles for use with fine art have cantilever tail-lifts.
