Move One has advised of an important change to customs rules in Kuwait. With effect from 19 October it is a requirement for all FCL and LCL shipments, import and export to and from the country to be palletized. If cargo is found to be non-palletized on custom inspection the cargo will be stopped by customs and a penalty fee of KD80 (US$264) imposed payable directly by the customer. Additional service charges will apply. Cargo will not be released until the charges have been paid.
