M&G Removals’ Director Matt Faizey sped to victory on 7 October to clinch the Cartek Motosport Electronics Club Enduro Championship, the largest endurance race series in the UK.

The Porsche 968 in actionMatt’s victory was even more remarkable as it was his first attempt at the gruelling two-to-three-hour, seven-race event, and only his second year of driving competitively.

Driving his Porsche 968 Matt took five wins out of seven, including the first round at Oulton Park after qualifying a lowley 27th on the grid, due to mechanical problems.  Later, at the Anglesey circuit, he lapped the entire field to take the win. The season ended at Snetterton with win number five, to take the title.

Matt races for the Faucough & Dye Motorsport team with the car built and maintained by Applied Autosport of Stafford. One of M&G’s porters, Mat Lamb, is a member of Matt’s pit crew who help keep everything running smoothly and make sure pit stops go without a hitch.
