Updated website for CLARS

Dec 07 | 2015

The CLARS (Charging, Low Emission Zones, other Access Regulation Schemes) website, www.urbanaccessregulations.eu has recently been updated to provide HGV drivers in Europe with even better information about environmental restrictions throughout the continent.

The new revamped website now has more facilities and allows users to search by city or country to find information they want.  It’s also possible to find schemes by vehicle type with the new ‘search by vehicle’ function.

The map has a dedicated page for geographical searches, with pop-ups giving the key information. The site is also more mobile and tablet friendly.

New information includes many more Italian camera enforced Access Restrictions (ZTLs) in particular in the regions of Basiliata, Calbria, Campania, Puglia, Sardegna, Sicilia, Umbria and Veneto; new Swedish LEZs (Göteborg (Gothenberg), Helsingborg, Lund, Malmö, Mölndal, Stockholm, Umea and Uppsala) that no longer allow any Euro 3; and a reminder about the new Paris LEZ that requires all vehicles to be at least Euro 1 by July 2016 rising to Euro 4 by 2020.
