Angie Boreham joins Edward Miles

Jul 07 | 2020

Angie Boreham has recently joined Edward Miles Removals in Battersea, London.

Angie BorehamAngie has wide experience in the moving industry having worked with Trans Euro, Fox Group in Wales, starting her own company in London in 2012 called Alfabet Removals that provided trade packing services and, most recently, handling customer services for EMS, also in London.

On leaving EMS Angie decided to take a little time off which expanded rather more than she had expected because of the COVID-19 lockdown imposed in the UK from March.  But she saw an advertisement from Edward Miles in The Mover magazine and, as soon as freedom of movement returned, saw Edward in June and started straight after.

Her role uses many of the skills she has acquired during her career including video surveys, face-to-face surveys, costing and a range of business development activities. “It’s one of those roles that’s hard to describe,” she said.  “It involves a bit of everything really.” Initially the plan was for her to work part-time, but it’s proved necessary for that to be flexible to meet the need of the business day to day.

Fortunately, Angie is one of that rare breed who is sufficiently flexible to turn her hand to just about anything and she’s really looking forward to working with a young and developing company.  “It just feels right here,” she said.
