Errol Gardiner joined Transworld International in New Zealand to handle business development on 24 September, 2018. Until recently Errol ran New Zealand Van Lines and became FIDI president in 2013.

Errol said that his remit will be to build the company’s international business. “My aim will be to provide an extra level of personalised service to agents, colleagues and customers, by elevating communication to greater heights through my personal focus in this area.”

Transworld only operates internationally.  “I see the main stand-out feature of the company being the teamwork and dedication of the staff, which was very apparent right at the outset,” he added.  “It’s not ‘just another brand’.” He also said that he had been impressed by the amount of tonnage the company generates, considering the size of the market in New Zealand.

“This is a big departure for me, but one I am sure will sit comfortably. After a couple of months’ procrastination it’s good to be back in the arena,” said Errol.  He did not attend IAM this year but is looking to attend the FIDI conference in Amsterdam next year.
