FEDEMAC, the European Movers Federation, established in 1959 as a lobbying organisation dedicated to influencing the law-makers and authorities both in the EU and worldwide, has introduced a new level of Commercial membership.
Commercial Membership will be introduced June 1st 2019 for an expected annual membership fee of €500 per company (€1.36 per day) and strictly available to moving companies that match the following criteria:
- Good financial standing;
- Minimum 2 years in business;
- 80% of revenue must come from moving services activity;
- Direct access to moving facilities, equipment and staff;
- Member of a European country national Association where such is present.
Commercial membership will provide members with access to the FEDEMAC conference that will take place this year from 6-8 May, just ahead of the Young Movers conference in Bucharest. FEDEMAC says that the conference will feature:
- World-class keynote speakers addressing the state and the future of the mobility industry, the impact of Brexit and EU legislation together with the threat of market disruptors;
- An opportunity to network with an audience of owners, managing directors and general managers from the leading moving companies across the European market;
- An opportunity to meet representatives from Relocation Management Companies seeking new partners in Europe;
- An opportunity to learn what’s new from suppliers and partners;
- An opportunity to promote your company by sponsoring an event or participate in the Expo.
FEDEMAC has also launched a new website that will provide access to leads.
