An interview with the president of the FIDI 39 Club, by Steve Jordan.
Jessica Deutschmann, from Gosselin in Belgium, took over as the FIDI 39 Club president in September last year. The appointment was a natural progression as Jessica has been on the 39 Club Board for five years and the vice president since 2019. She took over as president from Morgana Somers who had been on the Club’s Board since 2014.
The FIDI 39 Club has been around since 1990 and is made up of individuals in the international moving industry, all of whom are under 39 years old. It’s an opportunity for young people in the industry to build friendships, develop connections, share expertise and learn from each other and the wider industry community.
Jessica said she has enjoyed being on the 39 Club Board. “It’s been really interesting to see how FIDI works in the background and to be more involved with the whole conference,” she said. “It’s been a lot of fun and very exciting.”
