EUROMOVERS member Gebr. Roggendorf in Cologne has recently achieved its certification to ISO 27001 - Information Security.

The company said the millions of identity thefts and cybercrimes reported from around the world had increased its awareness of IT and data security and that it was responding to the demands of its corporate clients for increased protection. Roggendorf realised that its clients depended on them to ensure their data was kept safely and would not fall into the hands of criminals or others without their knowledge.

Several other members have approached EUROMOVERS international headquarters for help with implementing an information security management system. This ensures that clients can be assured that their data will be maintained with absolute confidence, not just by a simple promise, but with a certified and continuously monitored system.
