New removal tech company simplifies inventories

Feb 10 | 2022

Kika, an inventory-focused moving technology company founded in 2020, has launched its new platform designed to simplify the inventory workflow.

The Kika inventory application Uplift screenKika, based in Brisbane, Australia has now unveiled its new platform built to ease the administrative burden of dealing with pen and paper-based inventories. Kika's tablet application not only enables operation crews to create and check off detailed inventories quickly, it allows inventories to be sorted into categories so that transhipping is done quicker and items can be tracked easily. The Kika Admin Web Panel makes inventories and transhipping sheets available to all interested agents in real time.

"The inventory is the most important document in the moving industry,” said Damien Pahulu, Kika's founder with over 23 years’ experience in the moving industry. “It is more than just a list of items. It is a contract of what has been moved and binds every section of the industry. Even with the dominance of computers in the workspace, one document that has remained analogue to many has been the inventory. With Kika, we're bringing much needed productivity and cost benefits to removal companies by using the power of the Internet to eliminate redundant processes."

Superior Mobile App User Experience

Kika says that its Tablet Application transforms the inventory experience dramatically with a breakthrough design. Each of the four tasks (Uplift, Screen, Transhipping, Delivery) have been optimised to enable users to seamlessly flow through the process.

Innovative Web Panel

The Kika Web Panel assigns jobs to agents or sub-contractors in a few clicks; it also makes it easy to edit or reopen inventories. Using logic, the system can also handle the screening, transhipping and delivery for inventories that were originally done on pen and paper.

Screening, transhipping

The Kika system can also Screen inventories into categories such as quarantine and storage, and accurately record the Transhipping process. The company says that the innovative user interface makes it perfect for companies that regularly handle international and storage shipments.

Kika Direct

Not all companies have the same model so Kika Direct is for companies that don't use other agents and have no need for the Screening and Transhipping features that are not required for their businesses.

Kika is available for a Free Trail to all relocation and removals companies as well as their sub-contractors. Click here to e-mail for more information.
