This ‘state of the nation’ report provides unique insight into the people behind the numbers, creating a picture of the demographic, regional and socio-economic factors impacting the housing market.
The reports says that confidence in the UK property market is still building with new instructions up by almost 7% year on year. House prices remain stable. Smaller homes continue to make up the largest proportion of sales accounting for over 55% of all exchanges. Baby boomers are still driving the market with exchanges in this sector up by a further 10%.
