This year’s British Association of Removers (BAR) conference will take place from 23-25 May in the historic English town of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The conference is an opportunity for BAR Members, International Associates and Affiliates to meet in convivial surroundings to discuss business, hear from key industry speakers and enjoy socialising with friends and colleagues.

While the final programme is still to be decided, the conference will get underway with a welcome BBQ on the lawns of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  Other first-day activities will include golf at a local course and a cycle ride through the ancient streets where Shakespeare once walked.

Conference delegates will also be able to enjoy a ‘Page to Stage’ tour of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 200-seat studio theatre, The Other Place, followed by high tea on the third-floor Rooftop Restaurant of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

On Friday evening it will be time to take a trip on the River Avon for ‘gin ‘n’ frolic’ as conference delegates are invited to a sightseeing river cruise in partnership with the Cotswold Distillery.

After landing back on shore, a party night at Cox’s Yard Bar and Restaurant lies in wait exclusively for the BAR Conference community, an event which is shaping up to be a fun-filled evening of food, drink, music and games.

On Saturday the conference will culminate in the popular black-tie Gala Dinner, where the winners of the industry awards will be announced, followed by after-dinner entertainment and a disco for delegates to enjoy.
