After a short interlude following a period of illness, Peter Weltenius has returned to the moving business with his specialist household goods groupage service between the UK and the Scandinavian countries.

Peter specialised in this trade with his business Expect Move which he sold to AGS is 2013. Now he brings his special brand of expertise to provide regular services to Denmark, Sweden and Norway with the opportunity to include Finland on request.

Peter has been in the moving industry since a teenager and ran Expect Move for 13 years.  During that time, he has built up considerable expertise in this trade route and says he has sufficiently close relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure a fast, competitive service. “I am providing a dedicated household goods groupage service so there is no need for a full export wrap; blanket wrap is fine, depending on the nature of the goods and the customer’s requirements,” said Peter.

Of course, it is possible that should the UK leave the EU without a deal that Peter’s service will take on a new dimension.  “If customs requirements become more complex people will need more help and services might become difficult to source,” he said.  With or without a Brexit deal there can be few people in the UK more qualified than the industry’s very own Viking to provide the Scandinavian service.
