As published in The Mover, February 2019, Bobby Black from Black’s of Brechin completed his Inverness Etape cycling challenge around the world-famous Loch Ness.
Bobby said that he raised over £2,700 for Macmillan Cancer Support, the organisation’s number one fundraiser for the event. Bobby completed the 67-mile ride, which included a 4.8-mile, 12% climb, in just 3hrs 26 min.
Bobby lost his mother to cancer in 2010 and his father, Bob, was recently diagnosed with the disease. Fortunately, Bob was well enough to join his son at the finish of the ride. Bobby wants to thank all those members of the UK moving industry for their generous support.
