One of Norway’s moving industry pioneers, Jan Emil Carlsen, has died at the age of 84 after suffering from pneumonia, his family has announced.
Jan was a 3rd generation owner of Frogner Transportbyrå AS and a well-known figure in the international moving industry.
He died on 14 June at Bærum Hospital, Norway, in the arms of his loving wife Bjørg, surrounded by their three sons, Geirr, Bjørn and Jan Birger and seven grandchildren; Helene, Daniel, Ole-Morten, Stian, Andreas, Mathias and Emilie.
