For the second time this year Dijkshoorn EUROMOVERS has helped ‘Verhuisfamilie’ (Relocation Family), a foundation that supports the most deprived people and those without social security, who are in a need of relocation.
In this most recent case, the relocation involved a single mother with children who needed to move from Vlaardingen in The Netherlands but had no relatives or friends to help and no money to hire a moving company. Verhuisfamilie raises funds and cooperates with local volunteering organisations and recognised and licensed moving companies.
After the move, Ms Uta Hilgert of the Vlaardingen-Ambacht-Babberspolder-neighbourhood-team wrote to Verhuisfamilie thanking them and offering special thanks to the moving company:
“Dear All, it is so fantastic to see that people with less prosperity can have a move for free. It is fantastic, that it is nowadays still possible, and it is encouraging. The moving team at DIJKSHOORN allowed us to pick up the moving boxes in advance. Then they scheduled a crew one day in advance to disassemble furniture. There was a smooth work and a good atmosphere. It was very nice. Thank you very much, also on behalf of my client.”
