Calling all motorcyclists

Nov 11 | 2019

If you drive a motorcycle, why not join in the annual Santa Run and make a few children smile this Christmas.

Last year’s bike runThe bike run, which will take place on Saturday 8 December, is organised by Steve Maples who’s a recruitment consultant with Alchemy Recruitment.  “Last year we arranged for about 50 bikers to dress up as Santa and visit two hospitals dropping off presents (and even cheesy singing) to the childrens wards.  This year I will be doing the same but to just one hospital.  We will meet in the morning, ride about 20 miles, and let the children sit on the bikes and maybe rev the engines.”

Steve and his motorcycle club friends will donate toys, books, DVD’s and other presents for the children’s ward at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.  This year he’d like to get even more bikes and riders involved so, if you own a motorbike, and fancy giving it a stretch and making some poorly children happy, drop him a line and sign up.
