Bishop’s Move Crawley branch is continuing to sponsor local Under 14’s girls’ football team, Oakwood Girls. Last year the team narrowly missed out in the first ever Sussex Girls Challenge Cup, losing 2-1 to league rivals East Grinstead Meads in the final.
Coach Nick Rudge said, “The final was a massive occasion for the girls as they had never experienced anything like it before. They were understandably nervous, but they did themselves proud, as they have done throughout the season. All the girls have been inspired by the achievements of the Brighton & Hove Albion’s Women’s Team and long may the success for both clubs continue.”
Crawley Branch Manager, Darron Day added, “It is fantastic to see the girls do so well on the pitch. Everyone at Bishop’s Move has been following their progress throughout the season and have been immensely proud of what the girls have achieved now in the Under 14’s and are proud to have been given the opportunity to sponsor them again in 2019.”
Bishop’s Move work with many UK charities on both a local and national basis and welcome opportunities to help within local communities.
