FEDEMAC has announced the planned launch of its Load Exchange Platform for European movers that are commercial members of FEDEMAC.

The platform, due to be released early in 2020, will provide the first system in the European moving industry that will allow moving companies to either enter details of planned European trips by their trucks, or submit details of moves where they are seeking transport.

In announcing the news, FEDEMAC Board member Stefan Dimitrov of Matrix Relocations said, “The platform is the first of its kind in the European moving industry and part of FEDEMAC’s focus on delivering business benefits to its commercial members.  Today, collaboration on transporting moves is informal and often happens by chance.  This new platform will create a wide-reaching solution for all our commercial members to cooperate, resulting in better economics for moving companies and a significant reduction in empty running.”
 
FEDEMAC said more details of the launch will be released in the coming weeks.
