Luciano Franzosini, a leading international moving company in Italy, merged with Mercier SRL and , Nessi Group, industrial and domestic movers respectively, in February to create the new FMN Group.
The new group holds the entire capital of the three companies and so has become one of the largest mobility companies in Italy.
The three members of the group will operate autonomously within their specialist areas. The partnership will allow the group to expand its global coverage and serve the brands’ customers efficiently.
Mercier Srl will continue to be administered by Francesco Mercadante who will also operate as the managing director of the FMN Group. Roberto Blanco will manage the Nessi Group, with Fransosini continuing to be managed by Max Ajroldi with Filippo Favata managing the Milan office and Joseph Quattrone in Rome. Fransosini in Rome will represent the interest of all Group companies.
According to Max, the Group will now be consolidating its four Milan warehouses and benefitting from significant economies of scale. “There are very clear synergies for the three companies working together,” he said. “The FMN Group will be able to work more efficiently and productively bringing the best practice to all three while embracing opportunities domestically and internationally.”
This merger will help all three companies prosper in a tight Italian market.
