The British Association of Removers (BAR) in the UK has announced that it has postponed its planned conference in Jersey in May due to the exceptional circumstances arising from the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
BAR said that it had no viable option other than to cancel the conference and that it had proved impossible to find a suitable alternative date later this year. Its intention, therefore, is to move the conference back by one year to take place during the same weekend, at the same venue, in 2021.
The BAR Board of Directors has apologised for any inconvenience but said that it had taken the decision to help ensure the safety of delegates, exhibitors and staff. Delegate fees already paid will be refunded in full.
