Driver’s hours regulations relaxed - but not for all

Mar 19 | 2020

The Department for Transport (DfT) has announced the temporary relaxation of drivers’ hours to help keep the UK economy moving during the coronavirus crisis. The change began at midnight on Wednesday (18 March) and will be in place until 16 April 2020, unless a further announcement is made in the meantime.

It is important to note that the new regulations only apply to those delivering essential supplies, such as food, medicines and of course the all-important toilet rolls! Removals are not included, so don’t get caught out.
