Scott Cassidy of Swift Moving and Storage couldn’t believe his luck when he was selected by Sky TV to receive £10,000 worth of free TV advertising. Swift Moving and Storage, which operates as PODS in the Manchester area, was one of 100 companies to be awarded the prize.

Sky Media, the advertising sales arm of Sky, launched its £1 million AdSmart SME support scheme - SME100 - to reward small businesses with up to 50 full-time employees that could demonstrate true resolve and ingenuity during these difficult times.

Scott Cassidy from PODS explained, “Back in May while we were in lockdown and the business was closed I noticed Sky’s SME 100 Competition and decided to enter - nothing ventured and all that - surprisingly we were selected as one of the winners.”

“As a winner we get £10,000 worth of targeted TV advertising, which runs across the Sky network. We filmed our first ever TV advert a few weeks ago and the advert is currently running throughout July on Sky in the Greater Manchester area. Obviously, TV advertising is something that would normally be out of our reach, so this was a great opportunity to get our name and concept out there.”
