A team from the BAR Young Movers Council (British Association of Removers) will be lacing-up their walking boots this October to tackle one of the UK’s most gruelling outdoor feats; The National Three Peaks Challenge.
Ciaran Mullarkey, Calvin Tickner, Dan Braddock, Tommy McNee, Ian Studd, Paul Fox and his son Dan, will attempt to climb Britain’s highest peaks - Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike - all within 24 hours.
The team will need to cover a total of 26 miles (42km) and climb 3,064 metres, as well as drive around 460 miles through England, Scotland and Wales to complete the challenge.
It is of course all in the name of charity, with donations going to the Removers Benevolent Association (RBA), a charity managed by the BAR to support members and their families who are suffering genuine hardship.
The team realises times are hard for everyone at present, but would welcome any donations to this very worthy cause.
Please go to their JustGiving page to pledge your support.
