Sarah Manning, who many will remember as Sarah Jones from Mr. Box, has announced the launch of her new container supply company, Secure Stores Nationwide Ltd. Mr Box was taken over by American-owned Mobile Mini in 2016 where Sarah remained a director before leaving last year to start planning her new business venture.

Sarah’s new company will specialise in the rental and sale of new sea containers for the self storage industry as well as the design and conversion of containers for a wide range of other uses, such as office space and catering units.

With her many years’ experience in the container industry, Sarah will be on hand to give advice to customers considering starting a self storage business, many of whom she expects to be removals companies looking for an additional revenue stream. Unlike a purpose-built storage facility, taking the sea container route means that a business can start small with minimal investment and add units as the occupancy of the site develops.

As the name suggests, Secure Stores Nationwide will operate throughout the United Kingdom with typical delivery lead times of three to five days. Customers will have the option of either buying or renting containers with an option to purchase at any point in the rental contract should they wish to do so. 

Sarah says she is looking forward to getting her new company underway. “I can’t wait to get started on this new chapter in my life and I intend to build Secure Stores Nationwide into a successful company with a great reputation. I’ve really missed speaking to people in the industry, and I know I’ll be waking up every morning feeling energised, and ready to deliver the best possible service to my customers.”
