Clockwork Removals and Storage has upgraded its 70-strong fleet with 11 new Euro 6 vehicles. The company’s London branches have taken delivery of three Maxi Mover 3.5 tonne low-loaders with a fourth being delivered to its Sheffield branch.
Clockwork has also invested in five 18T Euro 6 DAFs and two Euro 6 Mercedes, LEZ and DVS compliant vehicles, five of which have 1.5 tonne tail lifts. These seven vehicles, all featuring sleeper cabs, were delivered to depots across the UK from London to Glasgow.
The company, which has depots throughout England and Scotland, says it is committed to protecting the local communities their branches operate in as well as the wider environment. To help achieve this, the new low-carbon vehicles will not only operate in ULEZ areas, but throughout the country as a whole.
Clockwork says it is also on target to replace a further two vehicles by the end of the year and hopes to have a complete fleet of ULEZ compliant vehicles running throughout the UK by the end of 2024.
