EV Box, the EV charging company, has opened a new Training and Testing Centre in Essen, Germany.
The centre will train EV personnel and provide test facilities for DC charging products. It is located in a green business hub of the Ruhr region which has been transformed from former coal mining.
The company says that the new centre addresses two key challenges: the reskilling and training of a sufficient number of personnel to make the transition to electric mobility possible; and providing a DC test centre to ensure there is a seamless integration and communication between the company’s EV infrastructure and all makes and models of cars.
The centre will accommodate 60 full-time employees when fully operational.
