Christian Altpeter from Schneider & Cie SA has announced the appointment of Reto Ackermann to lead the company’s new relocation logistics department in operations and sales in Geneva.

Reto has 30 years of experience in the industry, most recently working as operation manager at SIRVA Worldwide Relocation and SGRS Mobility Management in Geneva.  The company will also be operating a new bonded warehouse in Germany/Grenzach directly on the Swiss border, from 1 December, 2024.

Schneider is a well-known and respected freight forwarding company, established in 1865, with its headquarters in Basel. “I’m very excited to be joining Schneider & Cie SA and Christian Altpeter’s team as part of the company’s new removal division,” said Reto.  “I can already sense the potential for growth and success. I hope my extensive experience in the moving industry will be a valuable asset to the company, and I look forward to contributing to this exciting new chapter. I’m convinced that together we can build a strong success story.”
