John Mason International in Liverpool has been voted as one of the top 100 small businesses in the UK to work by Great Place To Work.
The award was officially bestowed at London’s Grosvenor House on 13 March 13. Executive Director, Simon Hood, commented on what this award meant for John Mason International and the wider region, adding: “Without a doubt our placement on the Great Place to Work List is an honour; it shows a Merseyside business like us can compete with the biggest names in the industry. For me it solidifies the best part about John Mason International, our people and staff.”
He continued: “We’re overwhelmed to see our work recognised; at its core this accreditation was earned and won by our staff. The phenomenal attitude and care they bring into work each day doesn’t only make John Mason International a great place to work, but forges the best part of our identity too.”
John Mason International ranked 93rd in the small business category, following a year of renewed championing of apprenticeships in the removals sector. 97% of employees stated the organisation was a great place to work, compared to a mere 54% recorded by other similar UK sized companies.
John Mason International’s newest member of staff, Sonny Harrison, added: “When I left school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, or where to do it, until I came across John Mason. Going forward it’ll set me up professionally so I can do whatever I want and be whoever I want to be.”
