Edwin Ooms took up a new position as managing director of AGS-KHZ Movers in the Netherlands in June. Steve Jordan talks to him as he starts his new role and returns home to his native country.
Edwin Ooms, CRP, GMS, is the new managing director of AGS-KHZ Movers in the Netherlands. It is part of the Noble Mobility Group which was acquired by the Mobilitas Group in 2017.
For Edwin it was a return home to his native country. He was born in Rotterdam and entered the moving industry working with De Haan. But it was also a major cultural change as he had been working abroad for around 20 years, partly in Switzerland but mainly in the USA with Graebel and, most recently, as managing director of New World in Chicago where he spent the last seven years …
