The annual International Mobility Alliance (IMA) conference took place a little later than usual during the second week of March this year.
The venue was the five-star Anvaya Beach Resort in Bali, a haven of peace and tranquillity where delegates could work and play together. The theme was ‘Sustainability in Mobility’ which ran through the entire proceedings, including the absence of plastic bottles and the environmentally-friendly backpacks sponsored by the Bliss Corporation.
This year there were 250 attendees from 189 companies in 55 countries. As usual it was the one-to-one (Partner4Partner) meeting format that dominated the event. It’s a format that has become popular at many industry conferences, allowing delegates to give their undivided attention to each other in carefully planned and timed 20 minute slots. All was organised in inimitable style, by Patricia Jade Ooi, the IMA Experience Specialist. Commenting on the sustainability theme, Pat confirmed that this will continue for all future IMA conferences.
There was also plenty of time for socialising and networking in the more traditional sense ...
