Ebru Demirel, from Asyl International Movers in Türkiye, Chair of the selection committee for the IAM Hall of Honor, opened the 2024 ceremony at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas in October.
In her introduction she said that the awards were first introduced in 2008 and had since bestowed the honour on 84 people. All had been judged by the committee to have made valuable contributions to their companies and the wider industry. “It is like the Oscars of our industry,” she said.
