The annual FIDI conference this year will take place in the 4-star, Valamar Lacroma Hotel in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from 27 – 30 April.

As usual at FIDI there will be a packed agenda offering a rich mix of social and business opportunities.  The FIDI 39 Club will be high profile, running its dedicated interactive business sessions and social events, including a sailing regatta for those who don’t mind grinding a few winches; a Game of Thrones walking tour; an informal dinner for members; and, of course, the famous FIDI 39 Club party.

The conference activity programme will include a regional tour, with wine tasting; an ‘all terrain’ tour around the nearby villages; a cycling tour; kayaking; a walk around the city walls; a gourmet tour to tickle the taste buds; a pop art and wine workshop; hiking with panoramic views;  the 5k fun run/walk, sponsored by Gerson Relocation; and even a zip line for those brave enough. The 2025 ‘Tour for All’ will offer delegates the opportunity to sail away to the nearby Lokrum Island, for sightseeing and team-building games.

Business sessions will include speed networking for newcomers and a varied programme of speakers and panel discussions, plus workshops looking at how to strengthen cyber security, sustainability reporting, and the FIDI netting system.  At the time of writing some of the speakers and topics have yet to be finalised.  More information will be available on The Mover’s website as soon as it becomes available.

The local FIDI Association evening will be at the Banje Beach, near to the harbour entrance to see the city from a different perspective and celebrate ‘everything Croation’.

In common with FIDI conferences in recent years, the organisers have done everything practical to limit the event’s effect on the environment ...
