Around 150 delegates braved the ravages of the Coronavirus to attend the IMA Conference in Siem Reap, Cambodia, this weekend.
A fabulous networking and business event in an enchanting town packed with culture, history and some of the best bars and restaurants you’ll find anywhere. The social calendar included excursions to the Angkor Wat temple, the floating village and the Cambodia mountain waterfalls: and there was a football match against the hotel staff, just for fun.
Terry Head, immediate past president of IAM and Walt Peniuk, famous marathon runner and father of Walt’s Challenge, were the guest speakers. Delegates then threw themselves into three days of a constant stream of one-to-one booked meetings with many of them reporting brisk business. IMA is the only networking event in the industry that provides unrestricted access to all companies, large and small. It’s a golden opportunity for delegates to meet old friends, business colleagues and new contacts who they would be unlikely to meet otherwise.
