RedBox Storage has become the first storage company to be certified SAFE at Gold level in the SAFE Self Storage Standards programme in Hong Kong.
The Standard is an endorsement issued by the Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA). RedBox was founded in 2014 and operates five sites in Hong Kong.
The seal of approval means that customers and business partners can have peace of mind knowing the facility is compliant with Fire Safety Department and Building Department regulations. The Gold Standard endorsement means that each site receiving the endorsement has been approved by an Authorised Person as compliant, with regulations set by the relevant departments of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Since being awarded the Standard for its Tuen Mun site on 8 July, two more RedBox stores have also been approved. A number of other Hong Kong storage companies have applied for certification and are expecting approval shortly.
