Hongkong Storage and SSAA (Self Storage Association Asia) has announced that Hongkong Storage's Lai Chi Kok (YYC) location is now certified SAFE at the Gold level in the SAFE Self Storage Standards programme.

The SAFE Mini Storage Certification Program is an accreditation provided by the Asian Mini Storage Chamber of Commerce to Hong Kong mini storage operators.

The certification strictly follows the relevant guidelines of the Fire Services Department (FSD) and the Buildings Department (BD). Applicants must pass an independent and rigorous assessment to obtain gold, silver or bronze certification.

The seal of approval means that customers and business partners can have peace of mind knowing the facility is approved as compliant with FSD and BD regulations. The SAFE Self Storage Standard is an endorsement offered by the SSAA to self storage operators in Hong Kong. The Gold Standard means that the site has been approved by an authorised person as compliant.
