Currencies Direct, a money transfer company, has been working hard recently to cement its position in the moving sector.
Although the company has provided services to the moving industry for many years, it has recently become much more active by joining industry associations, including: IAM, EuRA, BAR, EUROVAN and FEDEMAC. The company says there will be more to follow.
Robbie Lightfoot, Strategic Partnership Manager, confirmed that it is the company’s intention to expand its involvement with the moving industry on a global level. “We intend to have an active role in these associations, including attending all events, starting with PAIMA and IAM in Toronto this year. This will be key in building face-time and relationships with potential and existing partners.”
Robbie said that he understood the financial pressures on moving companies, with increased costs and reduced margins, and that it is, therefore, more important than ever for removal and relocation companies to explore different revenue streams. “Currencies Direct provides an additional revenue stream for removal and relocation companies, through a simple referral to customers to use our services. This also saves their clients a considerable amount of money when sending funds abroad.”
Currencies Direct is represented globally through its relocation partnership in the UK and offices in Ireland, the USA, Australia, Spain, Portugal, India and South Africa.
