Synergy Global Housing (Synergy), an international serviced accommodation provider headquartered in San Ramon, California, has recently announced the first eight furnished apartment operators to receive the certification for ‘Accommodation Excellence’ from global ratings company Bureau Veritas.

This independent agency has provided an unbiased audit of select Synergy top supplier partners and determined their adherence to the highest industry standards of product consistency and delivery of an above-average guest experience.

Partners were assessed in categories such as contractual compliance, physical security of the perimeter of the building and reliability. “We are pleased to recognise the first eight Synergy supplier partners who have met the stringent criteria established by Bureau Veritas for the Accommodation Excellence certification,” said Michelle Low, Vice President of Global Supply Chain for Synergy. “Companies receiving this recognition have fulfilled the highest industry quality standards of an independent, unbiased assessment which translates into their ability to provide best-in-class extended stay accommodations.”

Bureau Veritas is a globally recognised organisation specialising in testing, inspection and certification across many different sectors and industries. “Many of the serviced accommodation programmes we have seen are self-administered, but Synergy wanted to go a step further and have a third party independently verify the suppliers in their network,” said David Vigil, Senior Director at Bureau Veritas. “With this recognition, stakeholders can have confidence that the lodging options offered through Synergy are held to the highest level of requirements.”

Partner companies wishing to retain their ‘Accommodation Excellence’ certification will participate in annual assessments.
