As a leading exhibition service provider in Thailand, Boonma Expo Logistics was recently invited to share its knowledge and experience with the students and professors at Dusit Thani College in Bangkok.
The college, opened in 1993, was the nation’s first higher education institution specialising in hospitality and culinary professionals.
The seminar was for the 3rd and 4th years students and focussed on the M.I.C.E. Program (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition). It was held in a form of panel discussion with a specific topic of ‘How to Organize an Exhibition Successfully’. The team of speakers included an exhibition organiser, a logistics service provider and a booth contractor.
"Thailand’s trade show industry has staged a strong rebound since borders reopened after the pandemic,” said Tiddy S Teerawit, Executive Director of Boonma Group. “The country has successfully positioned itself as a host for a wide range of global trade fairs covering diverse industries such as automotive, electronics, healthcare, and more.”
New magazine to celebrate 60 years
In a separate announcement Boonma said that, to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary this year, it has launched its first ever bimonthly magazine for the moving and mobility industries called BoonmaZine. It has been circulated to more than 3,000 readers, including the company’s overseas partners, corporate accounts, individuals and Boonma Rewards Members. The contents include but are not limited to the following, such as Success Story, Destination Spotlight (Chiang Mai), Art's Lover Corner, Moving Tips (7 steps to pack a chandelier), Expo Planner (ATA Carnet for Int'l Show), etc.
