Atlas Van Lines appoints new chief security officer

Atlas World Group, the parent company of one of America’s leading moving companies, Atlas Van Lines, has announced that Ann Heathcott has been promoted to chief security officer. Most recently, she served as senior director of IT network services at Atlas World Group.

Ann Heathcott Throughout her 32-year career at Atlas Van Lines, Ann has served in many roles, including information services support, LAN support specialist, manager of LAN support, manager of IT technical services, and director of IT network services.

In her new role, Ann will be responsible for the ongoing development and execution of the Security, Privacy and Business Resiliency programmes for Atlas World Group. In addition, she will work collaboratively across Atlas World Group’s ten subsidiaries to ensure compliant processes are in place to protect the organisation.

Ann will also use her many years of experience to provide consulting services for the Atlas Agency network, which comprises over 400 interstate moving agents in the United States and Canada and continue leading the Atlas World Group Service Desk.
