Aires in the USA has launched its Aires Voice Assistant (AVA), an Amazon Alexa Skill that allows relocating employees to ask their Amazon Alexa devices questions about their relocations and receive pertinent information back.
AVA is available on the Amazon Alexa Skills store.
With AVA, a relocating employee can ask their Alexa device questions such as:
- What’s the status of my reimbursement?
- What’s the status of my shipment?
- How can I update my tax information?
- Can you tell me the status of my home purchase?
- Can you please send an e-mail to my mobility specialist?
“Aires Voice Assistant provides an additional self-service avenue to transferees, providing information about their move and access to specialists when they need it,” said Anand Diraviyam, Director of Product Strategy & Management at Aires. “We are excited about the opportunity to improve the customer experience and provide products that our transferees are already accustomed to in the consumer space.”
Aires welcomes and encourages suggestions and creative ideas from employees. The development of AVA was inspired by an idea brought forward by Vaida Paulauskaite, Director of Client Services at Aires, during an internal technology innovation challenge.
Vaida said, “Everyone in the organisation was encouraged to come up with their most innovative ideas. Alexa has remained very popular; this prompted me to think of ways we could tap into that technology. I’m so excited to see this idea become a reality.”
