UTA Edenred, a leading mobility service provider in Europe, has announced it has expanded its acceptance network in Romania through a partnership with Rompetrol Downstream, a leading Romanian oil producer and fuel station operator owned by KMG International.
UTA customers can now access Rompetrol’s network of stations at key locations throughout Romania, from city centres to motorways and major roads. Using their UTA card, they can obtain petrol, diesel and LPG fuel.
Lukas Schneider, Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at UTA Edenred said, "We’re pleased to provide customers travelling through Romania with more fuel options to make their journeys more efficient, comfortable and convenient. Rompetrol is an established brand that enjoys a premium reputation in Romania and the surrounding region. As such, it’s well matched to our European acceptance network. We’re delighted to welcome the company aboard.”
In addition to its footprint in Romania, the Rompetrol brand operates several stations and operations in Bulgaria, Moldova and Georgia.
