Telematics specialist, Quartix has announced the launch of a new app aimed at improving safety and compliance for vehicles and drivers.

The ‘Quartix Check’ app enables drivers to report vehicle health checks to the fleet manager, as well as incidents or accidents. It is available initially in the UK and will launch in the US and Europe in the near future. 

The app covers all the standard vehicle walkaround checks to ensure a vehicle is safe to drive. Phase two of the app will also allow fleet managers to customise the items to be inspected to tailor the checklist to their specific needs.

Initially the app is available with a 50% introductory offer discount to both new and existing Quartix customers at £1 per month per vehicle.

The app is available from both Android and Apple App Stores and as an add-on to a Quartix Fleet Tracking subscription.
