Patrick Landauer from Sobolak International in Austria recently visited Irishrelo in Kilcock, Ireland as part of a One Group exchange programme.
The visit included taking part in a packing job and comparing it to the way his company operated in Austria.
“Being a move coordinator at Sobolak I mostly work in the office and so some questions appeared doing the packing process,” said Patrick. “But the great crew of Irishrelo was very supportive and helped me out with explaining and showing me how to do certain things. I noticed some minor differences during the packing, such as tools which are used and different labelling.”
Patrick also got to see how the office and operations worked and, as his visit coincided with St Patrick’s Day, experience some of the legendary Irish hospitality. “All in all, I gained a good insight into the operation of Irishrelo, had a lot of fun, met great people and can only recommend the One Group exchange programme. It is a great way to get to know the partners you work with and exchange experiences and knowledge.”
Sobolak has sent five members of staff on similar exchange programmes over the last 15 years. Patrick chose Ireland as that’s where he started his career in 2001 and he already had good relations with the people at Irishrelo.
