Bishop’s Move has expanded its operations in Spain with the opening of a new warehouse facility in Algeciras. The opening ceremony took place on the 11 May, 2023.

The strategic location of the new warehouse in the heart of Algeciras will allow Bishop's Move Spain to extend its removals and storage services and take advantage of the excellent shipping facilities at the Port of Algeciras.  Bishop’s says the move will enable it to expand its range of international relocation services to Europe and the rest of the world.

This state-of-the-art warehouse is five times larger than the previous premises and this substantial increase in square footage means that Bishop's Move Spain can now securely accommodate a larger volume of household furniture and commercial goods, providing a greater array of comprehensive storage services to meet the diverse needs of its clients.

The company is in the final stages of its application for FIDI membership and the management team were delighted to have its Secretary General, Jesse van Sas, support the grand opening and officiate at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was attended by various colleagues and associates in the removals and property industry, including AGM Group's Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Costa-Rising, and Non-Exec Director, Colin Sargent, as well as Bishop's Move’s Managing Director, Alistair Bingle.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Richard Smith, General Manager of Bishop's Move Spain said, "We are thrilled to establish a new presence in Algeciras. This expansion aligns with our commitment to providing exceptional relocation services to our Spanish customers. Having grown with the company from foreman to general manager, I am delighted to see so many friends and colleagues here today to celebrate this exciting new stage in Bishop's Move Spain's development."
