Dean Adams promoted at Ballards

After 21 years as part of the Ballards Removals team, and several different supervisory roles, Dean Adams has been promoted to the role of transport manager.

Dean AdamsNow named on the firm’s Operators Licence, Dean will continue his professional development with ongoing training, coaching and mentoring whilst undertaking his new responsibilities.

Matt Ballard, Managing Director at Ballards Removals, said: “We are so thrilled to see Dean progress into the role of transport manager. He is a fantastic member of our team - having joined our business way back in 2001 as a removals porter. At Ballards, we really care about our employees and encourage them to undertake additional training and professional development to progress in their careers. We support them as much as we possibly can to reach their goals.”

“When Matt and Joe (Ballard) first offered me the chance to do the qualification, I was a bit taken aback but jumped at the chance,” said Dean. “I have had several different roles at Ballards with increasing responsibility - but this is the most exciting challenge for me to date. They both have given me 100% support - anything I needed, they were there. I’m so excited to transition into my new role and see what challenges it will have in store for me.”

Whilst Dean was undertaking his course, he was appointed a mentor - Pete Rushmer, Managing Director at Flagship Partners. Pete helped to support Dean through his qualification, coaching him to success. He said: “We have worked with Ballards for four years and they are a fantastic client - Matt and Joe are committed to very high operational standards, which makes it a great partnership for both businesses.”
