In 2024, Asia Relocation in the Philippines and Vietnam celebrates 13 years of growth, fuelled by the region’s economic success.

Philibert Challan Belval, CEO and Founder of the company, said that over the past decade, these two countries have transformed into key players in the global economy, and Asia Relocation’s story is deeply connected to their rise.

The Philippines and Vietnam have experienced amazing changes in the last 13 years. With more foreign investment, improved infrastructure, and a growing middle class, these nations have become hotspots for businesses. For Asia Relocation, this growth created the perfect opportunity to expand its services and establish itself further in Southeast Asia.

In 2011, when Asia Relocation was just getting started in the Philippines, the company was small with Philibert managing everything on his own. But as the Philippines began to emerge as a key player in the ASEAN region, the need for quality relocation services grew, especially among expats and businesses.

“With the country’s economy booming, Asia Relocation quickly expanded,” explained Philibert. “By its second year, the company had its first truck and warehouse, as well as its first three employees, allowing it to handle more complex moves. As the economy continued to grow, so did the business, enabling the team to build strong foundations and offer a wider range of services.”

Expanding into Vietnam
In 2022, seeing the rapid growth and potential in Vietnam, Asia Relocation decided to take the leap and open an office in Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam’s fast-paced industrial growth and increasing role in global trade made it the perfect place for expansion. This move allowed the company to offer its services to even more clients, connecting Manila to Hanoi, and Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City. "We've grown alongside Southeast Asia by building strong relationships with local clients and partners and adapting to the needs of our customers in this vibrant but challenging region," explained Philibert.

Committing to sustainability
As Asia Relocation grew, it also realised the importance of sustainability. With climate change being a significant issue, especially in the Philippines and Vietnam, the company began making eco-friendly changes to its operations.

"We believe that growth and sustainability can go together. That’s why we’re investing in eco-friendly practices to help build a greener future for the region,” said Philibert. “We swapped out wooden pallets and crates for recyclable tri-wall cardboard, introduced reusable plastic boxes for local and office moves, and worked on optimising transportation routes to save fuel. These changes have helped reduce waste and make a positive impact on the environment, while also setting Asia Relocation apart as a leader in sustainable relocation services in the region.”

Philibert said that, as the Philippines and Vietnam continue to grow and develop, Asia Relocation is excited to grow with them. “We are committed to expanding our services, adopting new technologies, and continuing to lead the way in sustainability. Our journey over the past 13 years is just the beginning, and we look forward to what the future holds.”
