Altair Global hosted its eighth invitation-only awards ceremony at National Harbor, Maryland, USA, during WERC’s Global Workforce Symposium in October.
The awards recognised its supplier partners’ outstanding achievements, and this year, celebrated the company’s 35th birthday.
The 2024 Supplier Partner Awards included a variety of categories to honour 13 partnerships with Altair, as well as Move For Hunger’s award for one supplier going above and beyond in food collection and donations. Suppliers were eligible for four main categories: ‘All-Star Awards’, ‘Super Star Awards’, the ‘A Star is Born Award’ and the ‘Written in the Stars Award’.
The ‘All-Star Awards’ acknowledge outstanding supplier partners in their various fields of expertise. The 2024 winners were:
- All-Star Award, Move Management Services – US Domestic: Alexander's Mobility Services;
- All-Star Award, Move Management Services – International: Interconex, Inc
- All-Star Award, Logistics Support Services: Bluestar
- All-Star Award, Corporate Housing Services: ReloQuest
- All-Star Award, Destination Services: All Japan
- All-Star Award, Global Mobility Support Services: Go Destinations
- All-Star Award, Real Estate Broker Services: Ebby Halliday
- All-Star Award, Real Estate & Rental Support Services: Fidelity Residential Solutions
The ‘Super Star Awards’ specifically recognise three supplier partners for exceptional achievements in the areas of environmental consciousness, humanitarian commitment; and innovation. The 2024 winners were:
- Super Star Award, Environmental Consciousness: Learnlight
- Super Star Award, Humanitarian Commitment: John L Scott Real Estate
- Super Star Award, Innovation: Relocity, Inc
Altair Global’s ‘A Star is Born Award’, considered to be the rookie of the year designation, recognised a newly established relationship in which their partner, ShipGo, distinguished itself and demonstrated its level of partnership by working closely with Altair’s Operations teams to ensure alignment on client partner needs.
The ‘Written in the Stars Award’ honours a long-standing relationship. The award went to Paramount Transportation.
The ‘Move For Hunger Supplier of the Year Award’ is presented to the company that most effectively incorporated Move For Hunger as part of its daily culture. The award went to Nelson Westerberg for its efforts in collecting and delivering food to fight hunger and food waste.
In 2024 alone, the company was responsible for the collection of 250,000 meals.
