FEDEMAC is inviting all movers worldwide, and the associations that represent them, to help celebrate Movers' Day on 19 May, 2025.
This special day was created by FEDEMAC to enhance the professional status of movers and highlight their critical contributions to global mobility.
The day is intended as an annual occasion to honour the invaluable work of professional movers, showcasing the unique skills and expertise that set them apart from general transport workers. The initiative also fosters collaboration among moving associations, moving and relocation companies, support businesses, and other organisations worldwide. In a press release, FEDEMAC said that “Supporting Movers’ Day promotes solidarity, enables the sharing of best practices, and helps to give the profession the respect and visibility it deserves”.
“Movers’ Day is a vital initiative to showcase the indispensable role of professional movers,” said Bertil Durieux, President of FEDEMAC. “On Movers’ Day, we seek to recognise their dedication and contributions, both to the economy and the personal mobility that drives it. We are calling upon global movers’ organisations, moving companies, and support businesses to unite and celebrate this day, ensuring that our profession is given the attention and respect it truly deserves.”
FEDEMAC is encouraging organisations and commercial entities to join this global movement by supporting Movers’ Day. To do so, click here to visit the Digital Initiative Support Board to register your support. The process is simple and includes the option to upload your organisation’s logo and share a supportive message. Organisations and businesses are also encouraged to spread the word and motivate their members to celebrate Movers' Day on 19 May.
